sewage in blue peters cave.

working in TN and thought i would check out a close by off the road cave. i expected the same old worn out, spray painted cave but i found a sewage pipe going into the entrance and white grey algae was everywhere and it smelt like sewage.

anyone have info on blue peters cave newport tn, yuck!

hope my partner and i dont get sick and die.

gross... could you tell where the sewage pipe was coming from? I am pretty sure that is illegal pretty much everywhere. I would notify the county code enforcement.

I grew up right above that cave. I've never been all the way through it but it's been said that you can go all the way to the french broad river. I've never seen sewage in it though. Will check out soon.

mr2nos i would love an update. seems that area has a lot of caving. wish i had time to see something good but i was working and took the night off.
