Shake-Up Flashlight screws up compasses

Well, I guess what we have here is a difference of opinions...

Maybe I should open up some others. Haven't found a capacitor, yet, but they WOULD work in the application. Paper style caps wouldn't last long in a cave environment...

My shakeup flashlight is clear, and I can easily see that it's a capacitor, not a battery pack, inside.

I stand corrected.

Apparently the capacitors are used in low low current applications, such as a LED flashlight.

Higher current devices, like a crank radio or regular bulb flashlight get a battery pack.

Live and learn.
